The North Shore Health Project is pleased to announce that our Annual Health Activist Award Breakfast is back! Please plan on joining us on Thursday, June 12 at 8AM downstairs at The Cruiseport in Gloucester. Tickets are $50 and available through the Eventbrite link at the bottom of this invitation.

This year, our honoree is Kathy Day. Kathy is the founder of Luminaries and Love, Gloucester’s annual breakfast event honoring those the community has lost to drugs. It’s a time for people to gather and share in healing. In addition to that, Kathy is also Director of Program development and Training for Learn to Cope, a Massachusetts-wide organization that offers peer led support groups for families and loved ones who have someone in their life experiencing issues with substance use disorder. Kathy exemplifies what harm reduction means. She is a well-deserving recipient this year, and we look forward to celebrating her. You will have the opportunity to hear from people who work with Kathy as well as other friends and family. There will be materials to make a luminary to be used at Luminaries and Love in August. Please bring a canned good that will be used the evening of the vigil as well.
