OCTOBER’S FIRST SAVOUR-SATURDAY COMPLIMENTARY FINE WINE TASTINGS WITH DANNY GIDDINGS, CLASSIC WINE

WHAT: For this October 9th Saturday Complimentary Wine Tasting we focused on an eclectic selection of especially food-forward wines moving into the heart of the fall season. As always, the tasting is elevated using our imported Riedel glassware   

WHY: The opportunity to learn about a singular collection of fine wines with guest host
Danny Giddings whose wine expertise matches his deep knowledge of food, making for interesting pairings.…the occasion to learn what Danny has in mind.     

WHO: Joining owner & wine merchant Kathleen Morgan is wine and food specialist Danny Giddings, Classic Wine…a consummate restaurant guy.   

WHEN: This Saturday, October 9th, from 2p to 4p at Savour

HOW: Saturday tastings are complimentary, as is parking behind the store, rear entrance.

Petrolo Toscana Torrione, IGT Italy 2017, Varietals: mainly Sangiovese, some Merlot, Abv. 13%, Pairs Well: beef, lamb, poultry,Veal and cured meats.  Robt. Parker 92+

Brega, Breca Vineyards, Spain, Aragon / Calatayud,  Varietal: Garnacha, Abv. 16.0% Pairs Well: Pasta, Lamb, Game (venison, deer), poultry, carnitas in crispy taco shells
